Nearly 40 countries and all seven continents later, I've learned that the best journeys aren't about checking boxes. They're about the moments that catch you off guard: a conversation with a local guide who changes how you see a place, a quiet morning in a riad courtyard, the realization that you've stumbled into something you never would have found on your own.
